Job Description
Responsibilities
● Managing PLM Administration activities via Thick & Thin Client,
● Should execute admin activities through PLM application modules like Business / Matrix Navigator / System / MQL, some time TQL activates may be performed.
● Coordinate with Global Key Users level 1, by Organizing regular & specific reviews
● Create, set access rights and assign new users to the right Design Organizations globally
● Manage data model (Classification, Route templates, Special roles) in compliance with PG rules
● Monitor Global MPLM performs / Usage / Data quality through indicators / Action plans
● Organize needs & improvement proposals collection
● Involve on PLM Migration projects,
● Create specifications acceptance test scenarios for new features or evolutions & execute,
● Perform test & report identified issues and follow its correction
● Communicate with developers for a better understanding of issues
● Check and validate correction of issues
● Report test results with the expected detail level
● Communicate on new version, new functions, corrections & improvements.
● Training / Support (Present / Future enhanced PG std methodologies )
● Build and communicate working procedure, leaflets,… to global KU1s
● Propose new methodologies on MPLM tools around existing standards
● Make improvement / evolution requests to PLM Competency center
Knowledge and skills
● Should know PLM Fundamentals
● Basic knowledge on PLM Architecture
● Ability to execute admin activities on Matrix one Thick / Thin Client
● Ability to work on PLM application modules like Business / Matrix Navigator / System / MQL,
● Ability to work on Route Template, Spinners, TQL, etc…
● Basic knowledge on PLM / Oracle server management
● PLM basics to perform functional tests
or) Advanced PLM knowledge, required to perform process-based scenarios
● Basics on CATIA V5 and CT5 (PLM-CAD integration)
● Ability to communicate on PLM functional issues with PLM developers
● Ability to communicate and understand on business needs from PLM end-users
● Ability to report test results with a clear description of the performed actions
B.E => Min two year of experience in product / process engineering (mechanical disciplines) with Matrix one / Enovia V6 administration experience
or)
DME => Min Three to Four Years experience product / process engineering (mechanical disciplines) with Matrix one / Enovia V6 administration experience
Key Requirements expected:
- Should have Matrix one / Enovia V6 administration experience through various PLM administration applications like Thick / Thin client, handling PLM application modules like Business / Matrix Navigator / System / MQL,
- Should have working experience on Matrix one / Enovia V6 functional – Thin client web applications
- Basic PLM / Oracle server managing experience
- Basic working knowledge on Catia V5 & PLM-Catia V5 Integration tool (Design Central
- Experience in handling Change Management System by Coordinating with other department
- Should know various projects phases & activities involved,
- Industrial exposure in managing Drawing release, Engineering change management etc.. between Project Team preferred,
