ABOUT CLAT:
The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is an entrance exam for admitting into National Law Universities of India (NLU’s). The exam is purely offline and is conducted once in a year. CLAT exams are a gateway to 21 law universities, Public Sectors institute and also Private law colleges. The eligibility criteria for the entrance exam are a higher secondary passed out, UG and PG passed out.
There are 5 sections (English including Comprehension, General Knowledge and Current Affairs, Elementary Mathematics, Legal Aptitude and also Logical Reasoning). Negative marks are included for every wrong answer (0.25 marks are deducted). The recent CLAT was conducted by the National Law University Odisha.
