About Agile:
Agile project management consists of the family of iterative development frameworks like XP, SCRUM, RUP, TDD. While it is a right fit for product development, it is not limited to that alone. Our PMI-ACP Course Strategy
Agile project management, based on P-D-S-A (plan-do-study-act) cycles is radically different from the conventional project management frameworks which are based on P-D-C-A (plan-do-check-act) cycles. It is value / principle based, than rule based. Inorder to fully appreciate it, it has to be experienced, rather than explained. Our strategy is to introduce the participants quickly to SCRUM methodology, which is one of the leading agile project management methodologies, then use scrum to explain/transfer additional knowledge and skills to the participants as prescribed by PMI, to make agile project management successful at the work place and to enable the learner to earn the PMI-ACP credential.
The course comprises of 10 sprints of two hours each. Each sprint culminates with an exercise or test, to reinforce the knowledge transfer. Sprints 1 to 6 will explains agile project management using SCRUM to the participants. Sprints 7,8,9,10 are focused on imparting the skills required to successfully implement agile project management. Upon successful completion of all sprints ( 1 to 10), the participants would have covered the complete syllabus, as prescribed by PMI, USA for their PMI-ACP certification.
